Telecommunications

Enterprise-Wide Process Improvement Strategy

Challenge
A large telecommunications organization faced inefficiencies across its implementation business function: outdated processes, lack of standardization, and operational bottlenecks. Leadership sought a comprehensive process transformation to improve performance, minimize manual touchpoints, reduce costs, and enhance scalability. The mandate: lead an enterprise-wide process improvement strategy leveraging AI-driven automation and offshoring.
Approach
  • Conducted end-to-end process assessments to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities
  • Program managed the offshoring of operations teams to leverage AI technology, automating 80% of operational activities across order delivery
  • Implemented Lean Six Sigma methodologies to standardize workflows and eliminate waste
  • Built a governance framework to monitor continuous improvement and measure impact
  • Engaged cross-functional stakeholders to ensure adoption of new processes
20%reduction in operational inefficiencies
15%improvement in process cycle times
$4.15Mestimated cost savings in 2024

Reduced order delivery risk, improved accuracy and customer satisfaction, and stronger cross-department collaboration.

Sales & Operations

Transformation of Sales Excellence

Challenge
The sales and operations teams were experiencing persistent inefficiencies that hurt the customer experience and increased customer effort: process bottlenecks, inconsistent workflows, and a lack of cross-functional alignment, causing delays and frustration for customers. The mandate: lead a process optimization initiative across five functional leadership teams to find root causes, streamline workflows, and improve the customer experience.
Approach
  • Conducted root cause analysis to uncover the key sales and operational pain points driving customer effort
  • Implemented process standardization and automation strategies to reduce complexity
  • Led cross-functional collaboration across sales, operations, and customer service teams
  • Introduced customer-centric process improvements targeting a 50% reduction in customer effort
  • Established performance tracking mechanisms to sustain long-term improvements

Service Delivery

Reliable Service Delivery Program

Challenge

Leadership sought a structured, ITIL-compliant change management framework. The mandate: lead a cross-functional senior executive team to design and execute the program while ensuring compliance with ITIL Change Management guidelines.
Approach
  • Designed and implemented a comprehensive program framework to standardize service delivery processes
  • Led collaboration between senior executives, frontline operations, and IT teams to align on objectives and execution
  • Developed and deployed training for 600 frontline technicians on ITIL best practices
  • Established KPIs to monitor service reliability and customer satisfaction
  • Oversaw end-to-end execution, with milestones met on time and within scope

600frontline technicians trained

Recognized with a Successful Project Award, with fewer service disruptions and a stronger change management capability for future service excellence.

Operations Automation

Robotic Process Automation

Challenge
The organization was losing valuable resources to repetitive manual work: staff were copying and pasting system alerts from one system to another because the two were not integrated, which hurt productivity and tied up multiple full-time employees on routine processes. The mandate: find a creative solution that complied with regulatory constraints prohibiting any integration of the two systems, while still automating the work, reducing manual effort, and freeing resources for higher-value tasks.
Approach
  • Spearheaded the adoption of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in place of a prohibited system integration
  • Assessed the needs of the various departments involved
  • Selected the right external vendor and engaged them to deliver a tailored RPA solution
  • Oversaw implementation of the RPA tool to automate the key processes
3full-time roles of manual work eliminated and redeployed

Streamlined operations, redeployed people to more strategic initiatives, and contributed to cost savings.
